Advertising in the Big Dipper Newsletter

Thank you for your interest in placing an ad in our Chapter newsletter. Our newsletter reaches over 275 physical therapists in the State of Alaska and is a great way to advertise job openings or products. We offer our members four quarterly printed newsletters and six email versions of the newsletter. The prices vary depending on the size of the article you would like to place and which version of the newsletter you prefer to place your ad in. Notice of New Policy:

Please note that the APTA opposes participation in services linked to the financial gain of the referral source. Therefore the AKPTA no longer accepts advertising from a practice if the referring practitioner has a financial interest in the physical therapy practice.

Advertising Rates:

Printed Version
¼ Page Ad: $80.00 per issue (4.5” Vertical, 3.75” Horizontal)
½ Page Ad: $140.00 per issue (4.5” Vertical, 7.5” Horizontal)
Full Page Ad: $240.00 per issue (9” Vertical, 7.5” Horizontal)

Deadlines:

1st Quarter Issue – January 15th
2nd Quarter Issue – April 15th
3rd Quarter Issue – July 15th
4th Quarter Issue – October 15th

Email Version:

$40.00 for each ad for per issue (no graphics, just words)
6 Issues: December / January, March, April, June / July, September, October
Deadlines: Ads are due by the 25th of the preceding month.

Discounts:

We offer a 5% discount for placing two or more ads in two or more consecutive issues and a 15% discount for placing an ad in all 10 of our issues.

All ads should be submitted in a Word document via email to Laura Kaczorowski at adminakpta@gmail.com by the appropriate deadline. All changes and cancellations must be made before the deadline.
